Why does pledge manager say "you pledge without reward" even though I chose one of the early rewards?
If your reward had a time/backer limit which has expired, Kickstarter is showing this error for some reason on the front end, even though it’s correct on the backend. Email [email protected] if you need a screenshot of your reward.

How does the summoner work?
The basic design principle for the summoner class was to ensure that the summons were balanced, feeling powerful, yet not overshadowing the other classes. At its core though, the summoner needed to be centered around bringing forth creatures for battle, supporting allies, and solving problems both in and out of combat.
After a multitude of design attempts going the spellcaster route, we eventually abandoned spellcasting and instead took inspiration from the druid, monk, and warlock classes building a summoner that utilized a point system which refreshes on a short rest. Our summoner is not just a glorified spell list, but a unique class that uses base mechanics from other 5E classes combined in a unique way.
Initially the summoner acted alongside their summons. We went through several design iterations trying to get the balance right and decided to make it work, the summons had to be really weak, which just wasn’t fun. What we ended up with is mutually exclusive actions. If you take the action for the summoner, your summon(s) does not get an action that round. This solved the action economy issue while allowing you to still bring forth powerful creatures.
To build on this further we added a series of options allowing you to customize your summons, character, or playstyle as you level. You can continue to summon stronger creatures, more creatures, or enhance a lower level creature to keep your summons relevant as you grow in strength.

Why did you go print on demand and how does it work?
A perfect storm of extremely high oil, lumber, and shipping costs combined with regular manufacturer closures led to a re-evaluation of alternative publishing options. Our community was very clear they wanted the option for a hardcover. We didn’t want to sacrifice on quality or deliver something with an extremely long lead time.
This brought us to the print on demand (POD) option. The service we chose, DriveThruRPG, has a history of great customer service and quick turn around times. They have a printing location in the U.S. and in the U.K. Rather than taking 1.5-2 years to get your books to you, we’re looking at a timeline closer to seven months.
When you choose to back a tier that includes the optional “Hardcover At-Cost Print on Demand Code”, you will be sent a link to buy the book at cost from DriveThruRPG once it is ready. DriveThruRPG Print on Demand services will print the book at-cost and then ship the product at cost to your address. This is the fastest, most cost effective way for us to deliver a high quality product at the lowest price possible as quickly as possible.
We won’t have to deal with huge shipments going to fulfillment centers, then continuing on to you with multiple steps for delays and increased shipping costs. This is especially important when shipping is the component that is rising in cost faster than anything else.

What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a launchpad for creators to raise funds for the initial production of their invention. Backers (that’s you!) can support the creator by pre-ordering the product at a discounted price. Plus, you get to be part of the design process and provide feedback directly to the creators while there is still time to implement your desired additions!

What does it mean to back a project (pledge)?
When you back a project, you’re pre-ordering the product. That means you’ll get it once it’s produced. Besides getting the product itself, you’re also joining a community. Follow along the production process, take part in important surveys and give the creator valuable feedback.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
